Newcomers’ Introduction

This session is for anyone who would like to know more about the RIPE community, the RIPE NCC and RIPE Meetings. It can also be a useful refresher if it’s been a while since you were at a RIPE Meeting.

Newcomers’ Lunch
When: Monday, 24 October
Time: 12:30 to 14:00 (UTC+2)
Right after the Introduction Talk, the Meet & Greet Team invites you to an informal lunch. This event will give you the opportunity to meet with other first-time attendees, RIPE Working Group Chairs, RIPE NCC staff and key people from the RIPE community who are onsite.
Onsite: The Meet & Greet team wear bright red t-shirts. They will be happy to help answer any questions you might have, or just to chat with you over a coffee.
Online: During RIPE 85, the Meet & Greet team will be available in the M&G room on SpatialChat from Monday to Friday, during the Welcome Coffee break (08:30 to 09:00 UTC+2). You can get in touch with them before and during the meeting using the email meet-greet [at] ripe [dot] net. In these sessions, you can meet other newcomers, share your thoughts on how your week is going, ask any questions that you might have or just have a chat with the Meet & Greet team.
