Currency Exchange

The Serbian currency is dinar (RSD). You can exchange currency in all banks and post offices, as well as authorised currency exchange offices across the city. Although card payment is accepted in many places, it is useful to always have cash on you. The current exchange rate can be found at the National Bank of Serbia.

Shops are usually open Monday – Saturday from 07:00/08:00-18:00. Food shops often close at 22:00. Some supermarkets are even open 24/7 (Maxi) and are mainly open on Sundays as well. Banks are open Monday – Friday from 08:00-17:00 and Saturdays from 08:00-13:00.
